Going out to set our traps. We have five. Four larger ones and one small one. They all catch keepers.

We got this rubber mat at Home Depot so we don’t ruin the boat. We are ordering a lobster pot puller / davit so we can keep the traps further from the boat when we pull them in and to make it easier…

This is a female lobster with eggs / seeds. We throw these back so they can grow.

A v-notch indicates that a lobster is a female even if you do not see eggs.

They like to chill out in our cooler.

Or you can put them with a piece of fish in a holding bin for fresh storage.

Fresh lobsters are sweeter than store bought and make great lobster rolls.
